I have had the privilege of having Duane maintaining my place for about 5 years now. All I can say is that words are not enough to praise this gentleman. It started with bush hogging some land I had acquired and a house that needed demolition. WOW just a call to Duane and it was done. then placing the pad for the trailer as well as setting it up as well. Every thing was done promptly, with a smile and even good advice when i needed it. I enjoy coming up knowing that Duane will have my place ready when I get there and his vast knowledge and resources are available on a moments notice. Any problems I have encountered have always been handled and done well.
And as for my yard? That is too beautiful for me. He makes it look so nice and green. and coming from Fla that is a plus. {all I have here is weeds} I can and do highly recommend Duane Furlong to any one who wants and honest, hard working, friendly person who really cares about you and your yard and maintenance needs. In 2009 I bought an old house in West Gardiner, Maine, on an acre of land. The previous owner (who had died) used to collect junk and sell it for scrap value. There was a lot of it left on the property plus a broken-down old house trailer. My insurance company required that it be cleaned-up. I hired Furlong’s to do it. First they bush-hogged the overgrowth from the field. Then they brought-in a small excavator with a claw and thumb bucket to load the junk into 30 cuyd dumpsters. This included demolishing the old house trailer. The job was professionally done and the equipment was like new so there were no brake-downs to delay the operation.

I’ve done business with Duane Furlong’s Home and Yard Care since 2009 when I bought property that needed a major clean-up because the previous owner died and it was left littered with junk from his previous scraping orperation. Duane handled the job with professionalism and promptness. His equipment was in like-new condition thereby minimizing delays from failures. Since then he has done my winter snow plowing every year. He and his team are personally dependable and have back-up equipment to get the job done. I wholeheartedly recommend him without any hesitation.
